About Tyler & Paloma

We’re a husband and wife team and co-owners of Pizza Knights, a Sacramento-based pop-up and catering company built on great flavor, genuine hospitality, and a lot of heart.

We’ve both loved food for as long as we can remember. Tyler’s family still jokes that he’d watch the clock and shout, “It’s lunchtime!” the moment noon hit. We aren’t picky eaters, but we do care about creating meals the right way - with quality ingredients and age-old techniques mastered with care.

Tyler found a love of pizza as a kid. He’d share Little Caesars with his family while they watched his favorite teams - the Raiders and the Kings. That mix of food, sports, and family became his happy place. Eventually, he shared this with his friends and me. Our first date, and even his proposal, was at the Federalist Public House. For him pizza isn’t just food, but a connector that brings him together with his people.

I didn’t grow up eating pizza. My family is from Mexico, so my childhood was full of tacos, pozole, and enchiladas. But food has always been a connector for me too. My mom never missed a chance to feed a neighbor, a friend, or anyone in need. I grew up following her around the kitchen, tasting her food and learning how to make the meals that brought people together.

My family is small, but our hearts are big. I learned hospitality from my parents, who opened their home to anyone who needed a place to stay or someone to talk to. That same spirit is at the center of everything we want Pizza Knights to be.

Together, we’ve worked in the service industry for over a decade—bartending, catering, running banquets, managing restaurants, and cooking pizza. We know how to serve people, and we know how to make it meaningful.

Pizza Knights isn’t just about great pizza. It’s about creating something that feels like home. A place where you can watch the game, grab a slice, or hang out with your people over really good food.

Whether we’re catering your event or serving slices at a pop-up, our goal is always the same: to make people feel welcome, cared for, and part of something real.

When you eat with Pizza Knights, you’re not just grabbing a slice. You’re joining our table.
